Star Sales & Service has been dedicated to the outdoor power equipment industry for over 50 years. We opened our doors in Albany, Western Australia in 1963 and have since grown to become one of the state’s largest retailers of premium garden care & equipment for farmers, landscapers, contractors and homeowners. Owned and operated by Mike Tompkins and Sally Buxton, our goal is to supply all of our customers with the best products for their needs. We strongly believe in high-quality products and brands and we stand behind the products that we sell.

Star Sales & Service provides exceptional products and superior services to all domestic homeowners and commercial landscapers – and everyone in-between. Whatever your lawn care & equipment requirements are, we have access to a diverse range of industry-leading brands and manufacturers from around the world.
With great service and experienced advice, our highly trained staff are on hand to assist you in acquiring the right outdoor power equipment tools and machinery for your needs.
Workshop & Parts
We have a fully equipped and experienced workshop where we service and repair all types of petrol, diesel and electric outdoor power equipment such as mowers, pumps, generators and scooters. We work with major brands such as Briggs and Stratton, Kohler, Grundfos, Onga, Victa, Husqvarna, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Hansa, Masport, Spitwater and Redgum.
Star Sales & Service supplies a wide range of aftermarket spare parts and accessories to businesses throughout Western Australia. We also supply cutter bars and spare parts to the Western Australian plantation timber industry.

We are more than just a lawnmower shop; we have two locations in Western Australia’s Great Southern region in Albany and Denmark.
